Destroyer Leader, Guided Missile - The 3rd ship of the Fleet to bear the name



DLG-31 Operations Vietnam 1968-1975
One month to the day after her departure from the United States, STERETT got underway en route to PIRAZ duty in the gulf. She put in at Danang, South Vietnam, for briefings on the 30th and departed immediately thereafter.
