  • 23 July 1940 (In the book Tin Can Sailor by C. Raymond Calhoun the ship was in the vicinity of Jarvis Island in the South Pacific on pg. 12).
  • 25 February 1943 (In the book Tin Can Sailor by C. Raymond Calhoun the ship was on their way to Espiritu Santo in the South Pacific and the event 24 February 1943 as it is written on page 110, or 25 February 1943 as is reflected on the Shellback Certificate of Shipmate RM3c Charles “Frenchy” LeFebvre and PhM3c William C. McKenna).
  • 26 November 1944 (In the book Tin Can Sailor by C. Raymond Calhoun enroute to Manus in the Admiralty Islands on pg. 136).
